These are brand new, owner built, cabins. We have stayed in many cabins/chalets etc over the years, and this was among the best places we have ever stayed. Marylin was so friendly - the property is beautiful - quiet, peaceful. It was a real pleasure to stay. The amenities in the cabins are top notch, very comfortable, and clean and private. The layout is awesome - outside the cabin, we had a covered deck, plus an open-air deck, and our very own gas barbecue. Marylin recommended a chinese food restaurant just south of town (Gray Creek? restaurant - pretty much on the highway) - by far the BEST chinese food we've ever had. Crawford Bay is a neat community - fairly small, but so friendly and relaxing. What a great place to vacation if your looking to relax!

We only had one night here but we wished we could have stayed longer. We would love to come back next summer. The cabin has everything you need and we enjoyed the covered deck. Very nice quiet area. Marilyn, thanks for recommending the Rockwood Cafe / Gray Creek cafe.
It was the best Chinese food we've ever tasted and the atmosphere there was wonderful. A bonus for me was the three
baby birds being fed by their mother in the tree by the deck. Thanks for everything!

We discovered these cabins while needing to make a last minute booking as we had decided to stop en route to
Kaslo. Thankfully, the motel was full! Our entire experience has been extremely positive: from our initial chat with Marilyn, to
our warm welcome received and to the comfort and quality craftmanship of the cabin. We hope to be able to come back again soon,
although as people discover this place and its beauty, we'll have to book ahead! Great job, guys!

From the moment I spoke with Marilyn on the phone I had a feeling we were headed somewhere special. Greeted with a hug and two warm spirits we were introduced to this little heaven in the
woods. The cabin is beautiful and cool on the hot day.. not to mention my new compadre Shadow (the cat) who also made us feel at
home. Other cabins can't compare to the family style treatment from Stan and Marilyn! We will be back!

We have never stayed at a more welcoming place. It was definitely our home away from home. You are two wonderful people and we are glad our paths have crossed. Loved
the pets, especially Daisy who didn't bark and loved to cuddle. The others are adorable as well and I can't wait to chill with Shadow again. We definitely want to come back next summer but will stay much longer. Loved the cabins, the fire pit , the campfire singing and will enjoty our new CD...You guys run a class act spot. Really enjoyed our stay here. Marilyn, you are a doll and sooo warm - it would be hard not to feel welcome here. The cabin and bed (especially) was very comfortable, the coffee good (you might want to leave instructions on where to pour the water in) and the forest around was so quiet and peaceful. The bear did not visit us - maybe next time.
